My introduction into fitness began with movement, first through competitive ballroom dancing, and later as captain of my varsity hip-hop dance team.
Over time, that love of movement evolved into a passion for helping others feel strong, balanced, and confident in their own bodies.

With a background in psychology and business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a NASM certified, I approach training through both a physical and mental lens, combining mindful strength work with functional movement and Pilates-inspired control.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend athletic conditioning with mindful alignment, creating sessions that are challenging, intentional, and empowering. I believe in building strength that not only transforms the body but also enhances focus, confidence, and overall well-being

My journey into wellness and healing began as a deeply personal quest for my own well-being. Facing my own traumas and inner battles, I turned to yoga as a path to healing and self-discovery.

Over time, I explored various healing modalities, not just to find peace within myself but to help others on their own paths to healing. My experiences with trauma and self-healing have given me a unique ability to connect with clients on a deep and meaningful level.
What sets me apart is my intuitive ability to read and connect with energy. I can sense and understand energetic needs, allowing me to tailor each session to meet individual requirements.

My skill set includes sound bath meditation, Reiki, bodywork, sports massage, yoga, Pilates, line dance, and personal and group training. This diverse background helps me address the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of well-being, creating a truly holistic experience for my clients.

Having worked in top gyms and wellness centers, I understand the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their healing journeys without judgment. My goal is to provide the guidance and space needed for clients to feel empowered and nurtured every step of the way.

I have found such a rewarding and fulfilling profession in Personal Training. My experience has taught me that every body is different and that progress has to be defined on an individual basis. I’ve struggled with my own weight and health issues in the past, so I understand the highs and lows of motivation and life, and I’ve found that I’m able to resonate deeply with many of my clients because of those experiences.

 

As the founder and lead coach of Powerhouse Pilates, I bring a strength-focused approach to movement, helping people feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies. My background includes years of work in Mat Pilates, small group training, and group fitness, as well as extensive experience with pre and postnatal clients and those returning from injury.

 

That experience, combined with my NASM certification and advanced training as both a Pain-Free Performance Specialist and a Certified Functional Strength Coach, allows me to design programs that are safe, smart, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Above all, I love educating people on exercise and nutrition and showing them how to weave both into their lifestyle in a way that feels sustainable, realistic, and empowering, not overwhelming.
